Guidelines for authors

REQUIREMENTS FOR PAPERS

An issue of the collection of scientificpapers «Current Problems of Linguistics and Literature Studies," (see Bulletin of VAK of Ukraine. — 2010. — № 5. — P . 13) is published once a year by the Ukrainian Language Department of Uzhhorod National University.

Papers are published in Ukrainian, Russian, other Slavic languages, and English. Papers as well as reviews are submitted to O.F.Myholynets – Associate Professor of the Ukrainian Language Department. The final date of submitting the papers is the 10th of February.

Requirements for Publications:

Requirements for articles: submitted in electronic and paper versions up to 12 pages, A4 page format, font Times New Roman, size — 14, spacing — 1,5, margins — 2 cm. In the first top line on the left UDC is indicated. The title of the publication centered has to be typed in bold capital letters. The name of the author has to be typed in bold above the usual letters. The abstract of the paper in Ukrainian (about 5 lines) and keywords (5—7 words) are placed under the title of the article. Illustrative material has to be printed only in italics. Name of the author, title, abstract and keywords have to be printed in foreign (English, German or French) language at the end of the article, after the references. Link to references (literature) must be applied only to the text in brackets, e.g.: [2], [5, p. 36], [7, IV, p. 181], where 2, 5, 7 are the numbers in the list of reference, IV is the number of the volume. Numbered references are being filed alphabetically, bibliographic description of the papers is carried out according to the state standard requirements (see below).

Information about the author: surname, name, academic degree, academic rank, place of employment, position, address, phone, e-mails are submitted on a separate sheet of paper. If case of co-authors of the article, the information has to be submitted for each of them.

Post-graduate students and applicants have to provide the review of the scientific advisor.

The paper should include the following constituent parts (according to the VAK of Ukraine Presidium Decree from 15.01.2003. № 7-05.1):

1. Consideration of the problems the author touches upon in general and in its connection with important scientific and practical tasks.

2. The analysis of recent researches and publications which include the solution of the problem, pointing to still unresolved aspects of the problem.

3. Outlining the objective of the research with the complete and exhaustive justification of the results obtained.

5. Conclusions and perspectives of the further research.
